On further reflection -- you can see how silly this is. If Bush wore a wire, that would mean that a few minor campaign staff would have had to lie about it.
The Bush Administration only does the Big Lies, which involve the President, Vice-President, Secretary of Defense, Secretary of State, and National Security Advisor -- all sounding off in unison, in a complete a total lie to the American people, the UN, and the world community. While committing $200B in treasure, and over 1000 American lives ("and 500 Iraqi Army lives!" Cheney is quick to point out).
Wearing a wire is so small potatoes, why even lie about it?
