[Bob Herbert, NYTimes] writes in his OpEd about this Canadian citizen who was also identified -- like me -- as a foreign national by the US. Unlike me, he actually is a Canadian citizen. And, also unlike me, he was put on a plane, flown to Jordon, driven to Syria, and tortured. "He wept. He begged not to be beaten anymore. He signed whatever confessions he was told to sign. He prayed." He's back in Canada now because --- big "Ooops" here --- turns out he's not a secret Al Qaeda agent.
